I was going thru my books when I found a binder. It had a TON of articles from 2008 on homemaking, mothering, being a wife, God, and other feminine advice. I’m in shock at how much info I wanted on being a homemaker. Traditional homemaking. I had no female role model. My one ‘mentor’ that I had abandoned me when I started wearing skirts and covering my head. So here’s one page that helped me. Maybe it can help you too. http://www.momof9splace.com
Beloved I seek thee Where can thy be found Up in a cloud Or buried in the ground I search diligently for you, it is you that I seek You’re just like a secret my heart wants to keep So where can I find you my beloved dear I search both up and down and both far and near -Just Plain Bridget
“Beloved” is a word that is used many times in song of Solomon. It is a love story of Jesus and His church.
“As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.” Song of Solomon 2:3 KJV
“My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;” Song of Solomon 2:3, 9-11 KJV
How beautiful is that? It is like a love story. But the best love story is the one our Lord gave to us.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV
He loved us so much he died for us.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 KJV
